Just like every year Lakme Fashion Week is taking place at the beginning of the year. The celebration has made its way again after completing two decades of presenting fashion in the most artistic and entertaining way. Just like every year this year the application was called and this year 15th Nov 2019 was the last date for filling up its forms. As it was expected it is happening at the beginning of the year and this 5-day event starting on Feb 12 and will end on Feb 16. The event was organized again in Jio Garden, Bandra BKC, Mumbai.

Gen Next Designers

Just like every year, Gen Next Designers was all set to introduce its first crop designers in the Lakme Fashion Week. Designers who have some immense knowledge in their work and now they are doing their debut in this fashion gala.

Other Designers

Designers like Abhishek, Anurag Gupta, and Kanelle, who are supremely talented again participating in the event to showcase some unique designs to create some new benchmark in the fashion world. Patterned dresses with the signature orange eyeshadow makeup look were showcased by kanelle through her designs.

INIFD launchpad

In association with Lakme Fashion Week, INIFD gives an opportunity to its students to showcase their knowledge to promote fresh talent in the industry. In accordance with that designer, Swapnil Shinde will be showcasing designs that will be a perfect blend of traditional palette and modern look. Vaishali S is also coming up with some traditional feel with a mix of rich tones. Vaishali S is a specialized designer in handloom textiles and handicraft techniques.

Ananya Panday in discussion with Anaita Shroff Adajania

Lakme Fashion Week is known for its interesting ingredients that make it more over the edge. To continue that spark in the event, this year Ananya Pandey is attending the event to speak about social media bullying in a positive way.
