Day 4 of Lakme Fashion Week 2020 came forward just like a game-changer of the season. Some never seen collections with some outstanding work won all the hearts. Designers showcased some compelling designs with some unique twists. This second last day of the show was filled with entertainment and talent.

Here we are comprising the name of the designers who participated in the event and showcased their talent on the runway along with their time schedule. The designs were unique that was one step ahead form their own previous efforts. Contests were held to keep it interesting for the viewers.

12 PM – Delhi Vintage Co. with Nirmooha & Shahin Mannan

Delhi Vintage Co is a brand that has expertise with handloom textiles. They showcased metallic textiles with a mix of neutral tones like pastel pink, reds florals. Nirmooha and Shahin chose to go with some bold graphics with the twist of whimsical Italian art history.

1:30 PM – Rara Avis Verandah

In this collection, they primarily focused on the color palette of brown and its different shades. To make a perfect blend with the hues of brown they used white to create a subtle balance in the designs.

3 PM –  Punit Balana SVA By Sonam & Paras Modi

Designer Punit Balana took the inspiration from the forts and monuments from the rich architecture of India. They named their collection as “The Royal Bagh” to epitomize the luxurious collection of this edition. Sonam & Paras Modi are the pioneer of fashion. In their collection “Galeecha” they showcased abstract to fluid florals to give recall the early times of fashion.

4 PM – ‘Kaveri’ by Mohammad Mazhar

With the outshining African motifs, tribal symbols made the designs extravagantly bespoke. They made some clever detailing with keep, block-printing, layered screen-printing and ornamented it with handwork and crochet work. “I Listen To Colour” was the perfect term for their collection.

5 PM – Diamond Producers Association Presents ‘The Real Cut Season 3’

Featuring- Ikai By Ragini Ahuja X Vummidi Bangaru Jewellers & Sona Chandis Ridhi Mehra X Senco Gold & Diamonds & A S Motiwala Shriya Som X BR Designs  & Reliance Jewels. These were the six jewellers who participated in this third season of ‘Real Cut’. Winners were Ragini Ahuja, Shriya Som and Ridhi Mehra.

7 PM – Corcal Bone & Beauty Presents Payal Singhal #Beautyfullystrong

They took an initiative to felicitate the strong women of the society. They initiated a contest and the top five winners got the chance to walk for Payal Singhal on the runway.

8 PM – Jade By Monica & Karishma

Fabrics like organza, macrame were used with the hues of lilac, lavender, beige, grey, lilac, pink, powder blue, and white was used in the most aesthetic way. Designs were made with the idea of keeping it weight-less and ready to flaunt. The collection was mended for the new generation brides.

9 PM – R| Elan Presents Pankaj & Nidhi

The duo designers made the collection vivacious with some intricate combination of soft florals and structured denim. The collection was titled “Artfluence”. Fabrics like organza were used with geometric prints. Actress Shradhha Kapoor walked as the showstopper of the collection.
